At Ripple Vision we strive to take the complexity and uncertainty out of internet and media production. Drawing on many years of collective experience in various areas of media, marketing, web and application development, we make every effort to speak "plain english" in a world with an ever increasing number of new technologies.Our customer's don't need to become computer and media experts because we offer complete solutions. Whether it is pre-packaged, no-nonsense web package, or just walking through the entire media production process, they don't need to know what to look for, because we do. Our staff are trained to assist companies utilize the latest tools and technologies while helping organizations attract new customers and extend their reach into new markets.
The Process in Action ...
We have four key stages in our delivery process. By following these logical steps we help maximize the opportunities for success and provide customers with internet and media solutions that meet their needs, fit tight schedules and deliver on budget.
The Identification Phase ...
During this time, we aim to clearly define exactly what the customer's business objectives and needs are by having an in-depth, up front consultation. We document any functional requirements and list the project goals. After analysing these needs and objectives we recommend the most appropriate technologies and map out the project stages and mile-stones.
The Design Phase ...
This is where we create things like functional specifications for web site and colour charts for media. Essentially this is the bit where we refine all the initial goals and ideas, and start getting creative. We finish this phase by documenting an agreement to a joint project and action plan.
The Development Phase ...
Now we get to the core of the project where we take all our design work and starting putting together all the elements. Be it a complex web application or a promotional video, we strive to keep you updated along the way by using our self built, in-house tools, we give you a personal login to our website where you can keep track of updates on the project, and even be notified by email when something has changed.
The Delivery Phase ...
Finally, we come to the conclusion of the project. This is where we work closely with the customer to ensure that final delivery goes smoothly. If, for example, it is a web application, we will come in and train the customer's staff how to use any dynamic features of the web site. This could be anything from keeping content regularly updated; to the available support options should something not behave as expected. For media projects, we burn all master copies of the content to CD or DVD (or other request media), and we run through all the features of the project with the customer.
